Green Chemical Technology: Core Technology for Sustainability and Competitiveness
E-mail:
Chemical technology has contributed tremendously to the development of affluent human life by providing various kinds of useful materials. Although there have been several adverse effects, the positive effects were dominant. As for the future, we are confident that chemical technology will continue to play key roles, but we can not foresee similar expansion as in the past, because of the limited supply of resources and the intolerable environmental disruption. The influences of science and technology might have grown beyond our controllability. We now need new innovative chemical technology which supplies to the society various materials with super high performance and, at the same time, friendly to the society and the environment.
