Hydrogen production from partial oxidation and steam reforming of n-octane over alumina-supported Ni and Ni-Pd catalysts
Hydrogen production by partial oxidation and steam reforming (POSR) of n-octane was investigated over alumina-supported Ni and Ni-Pd catalysts. It showed that Ni-Pd/Al2O3 had higher activity and hydrogen selectivity than the nickel catalyst under the experimental conditions, which indicated Ni-Pd/Al2O3 could be an effective catalyst for the production of hydrogen from hydrocarbons.
