A new re-enterable through-tubing gravel-pack (TTGP) system that allows high-flow-rate packs with positive pressure isolation provides maximum fracture length and productivity while preventing premature sand production. The re-entry-guide funnel is a novel approach to solving the problem of re-entering down-hole components inside large casing with small-diameter through-tubing tools. Full-scale yard tests demonstrated the functionality and durability of the guide. With the re-enterable TTGP system, through-tubing frac packs; ire now possible for closely spaced zones at high inclination angles.
