A new model is introduced which describes the influence of temperature and degree of curing on the viscosity of a reactive epoxy resin adhesive. The procedure for determining the model parameters is explained with the help of rheology and calorimetry as well as the viscosity calculation which is temperature and degree of curing dependent. The calculated viscosity progression of cross-linking polymers during nontrivial temperature control shows good correlation with the measured viscosity progression.
