Electrochemical applications of probability assessment methods via decision theory. Part II: Evaluation via mathematical scoring
Mathematical scoring rules, providing quantitative means to measure the goodness of assessment of event probabilities, are complementary to the calibration and de-biasing procedure whose application to electrochemical systems is described in Part 1. Numerical illustrations are provided for the current efficiency in a zinc-plating process, and the operational modes of an electrolyzer. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
