The production of defined crystal shapes, crystal sizes, and particle size distribution is a fundamental interest of all crystallization and precipitation processes from a technical viewpoint. The authors report a continuous process for crystallization of highly soluble inorganic substances that is able to produce coarse and even partly spherical particles.
