Geometrical modeling of the triple-phase-boundary in solid oxide fuel cells
A geometrical model was developed to predict the influences of solid grain size, pore size and porosity on the triple-phase-boundary (TPB) length in electronic composite electrodes of solid oxide fuel cells. It shows that the TPB length is inversely proportional to grain size and can be optimized by the pore size and porosity. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
