Heat-Transfer in a Laminar Cylindrical Wall-Jet with Uniform Surface Heat-Flux
The steady state flow and heat transfer characteristics of a laminar cylindrical wall jet are obtained for uniform surface heat flux conditions. Local nonsimilarity solutions as well as series solutions are presented for the velocity and thermal fields. Numerical results are given for the wall shear stress, surface temperature variation and temperature field for a Prandtl number of 0.73.
