A-deficient chromites-titanates with the perovskite-type structure: synthesis and electrical conductivity
A-site-deficient lanthanum-calcium chromites-titanates (La1-xCax)(1-x)Cr1-yTiyO3 (y=0.5, 0.8, 1.0) with perovskite-type structure were synthesized by an oxide route in air (final heating 1350 degreesC). Their electrical conductivities, depending of the oxygen partial pressure and oxygen diffusion mobility, were investigated at 900 degreesC. The electrical conductivity changes between 8 x 10(-4) and 2 x 10(-4) S cm(-1), and the chemical diffusion coefficients range between 1 x 10(-9) and 10 x 10(-9) cm(2) s(-1). (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V.
