Heterogenization of [Cu(NCCH3)(6)][B(C6F5)(4)](2) and its application in catalytic olefin aziridination
[Cu(NCCH3)6][B(C6F5)(4)](2) call be heterogenized by ion exchange on NaAlMCM-41 and NaAlMCM-48. In the latter case, the observed loading is twice as high as in the first case. [Cu(NCCH3)(6)][B(C6F5)(4)](2) is applicable both in homogeneous and hetrogeneous media for the aziridination of olefins at 30 degrees C. Good yields are observed for non bulky olefins, olefins with bulkier substituents lead to lower yields. [CU(NCCH3)(6)][B(C6F5)(4)](2) grafted on rnesoporous surfaces (as heterogeneous catalyst) is stable and recyclable for several catalytic runs with only slight decrease in catalytic activity.
