Lessening Concentration of Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals and Phamaceuticals on Nanofiltration Membrane with Iron(III)-tetrasulfophthalocyanine Catalyst
The objectives of this research are to develop catalyst-membrane hybrid system to allow effective destruction/transformation of Endocrine Disruptors into non-toxic species in water teratment while minimizing the catalyst deactivation and optimizing the reaction conditions. This system is designed to detoxify organics in raw water and to eliminate concentration problems in retentate simultaneously by applying the catalyst into a nanofiltration membrane system.
