졸-겔법에 의해 제조된 티타니아 졸로 코팅된 폴리프로필렌 필터의 특성 연구
A Study Characteristic Polypropylene Filter Coate by Titania Sol Prepared by Sol-Gel Process
In this study, polypropylene filter coated by titania sol and its disinfection characteristic was performed in Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. As the results, in case of polypropylene filter coated with titania sol, the deodorization efficacy was 66%, 90% and 16% for ammonia, trimethylamine and acetic acid cause indoor air pollution. Also, the disinfection activity for Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus was showed superior character 99.9% after 24 hours. From these results, ammonia, trimethylamine and acetic acid can effectively be removinf by polypropylene filter coated by titania sol prepared in this study. In addition, this darkcatalysis was found to give a very high efficiency for disinfection of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.
