Evaluation of PSA Process for Low Puirty O2 Production
As the anxiety of the environmental pollution increases, the oxygen is being applied to everyday life in recent years. However, most commercialized PSA processes which separate oxygen from air have been hesigned to produce a high purity oxygen-enriched stream. This experiment was performed to obtain the optimal process conditions in producing low purity oxygen form air using pressuie swing adsorption. The influences of pressurization step duration, adsorption step duration, purge flow rete, and adsorption pressure were investigated. The optimum operating conditions were observed for given oxygen purity.
