다양한 분산중합 공정을 이용한 가교 PMMA 입자의 제조
Preparation of Crosslinked Poly(Methyl Methacrylate) Microsphere by Various Dispersion Polymerization Processes
To overcome problems with crosslinker in dispersion polymerization, we used the 5μm PMMA seed particle prepared by dispersion polymerization, and then by seeded batch and seeded multibatch dispersion polymerization processes we could prepare the monodisperse-crosslinked PMMA particle containing up to 8 wt% DVB and identified by optical microscope, scanning electron microscope and DSC. But the rapid consumption of DVB in seeded batch dispersion polymerization caused particle deformation and coagulation. Then we could prepare the monodisperse, crosslinked and smooth surface PMMA particle containing up to 9 wt % DVB by seeded semi-continuous and seeded multiseni-continuous dispersion polymerization processes.
