Kinetic characterization in the polymerase chain reaction
Polymerase chain reaction is one of the most widely used techniques in modern molecular biology. This reaction step consists of denaturation, annealing and elongation. The detailed kinetic studies of the annealing reaction have reveled the complex reactins that involve primers and single strainde DNA. The main object of our study is the detailed kinetic model of the annealing reaction and the formation of ternary complexes.
