Characteristics and Molecular Modified of Seaweed Pulp with CaCO3 Beads as Antioxidant
In order to overcome the disposal problem of commodity CaCO3 bead used in convenient and high costs of antioxidant natural polymers, environmentally friendly blends of modify synthesized seaweed pulp and hydrophilic poly saccaride were prepared and their properties were investigated. seawdde pulp/alginic acid, CaCO3 blends with various weight ratios were prepared using a solution blending system with protic solvents. In addition, with increased seaweed pulp content in the blends, Tm, and Td values of seaweed pulp/AG blends decreased, however, the antioxidant and mechanical properties increased.
