The values of molar enthalpies of vaporization for the first 20 members from C1 to C-20 of the homologous series of 1-iodoalkanes were estimated from the temperature dependence of the vapor pressure. A linear correlation of enthalpies of vaporization Delta H-g(1)m degrees at 298.15 K of 1-iodoalkanes with the number of carbon atoms has been found. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
