The successful catalytic chain-transfer synthesis of 1,1,2,2-tetrahydroperfluoroalkyl methacrylate macromonorners with [bis(aqua)bis(difluoroboryl)dimethyl-glyoximato]cobalt(II) as a catalyst is reported. Fluoroalkyl methacrylate macromonomers were synthesized in acetone with 2,2'-azobisisobutyronitrile as the initiator. (c) 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
