Optimization of electrode paste composition and structure for improving energy and life characteristics of active materials for lead batteries
The individual components of electrode pastes (4M center dot PbSO4, 3PbO center dot PbSO4 center dot H2O, PbO center dot PbSO4) have been synthesized, their behavior has been studied during soaking and formation, and the characteristics of the active materials made of these monopastes have been determined. This approach allows purposeful optimization of electrode paste composition to meet the requirement specified for batteries. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
