While identifying system hazards is crucial to a facility＇s overall success, it is perhaps more important to focus and prioritize the hazards that surround the worker＇s tasks and position. This article describes a methodology for identifying hazards that are associated with position, which allows a facility to lower the overall level of risk by carrying out a study analogous to a HAZOP.
