Features of ozonation of crude oil middle distillates
Ozonation of diesel cuts with different sulfur contents was investigated. Intensive gum formation and formation of insoluble products take place during the process. At temperatures below 20 degrees C, the intensity of gum formation decreases significantly. The existent gum content increases with an increase in the ozonation time. At 0 degrees C and higher ozonolysis is accompanied by intensive foaming.
