Binary liquid-liquid equilibrium in the systems containing monofunctional benzene derivates (toluene or methoxybenzene or chlorobenzene or acetophenone), and 1,2-ethanediol was measured by the volumetric method in the temperature range 283-333 K. It was found that solubilities of the selected monofunctional benzene derivates at ambient temperature were approximately 200 times higher than that in water.
