The red perylene silica-core flouorophores were prepared by the reaction of 1,6,7,12-tetrakis(p-tert-butylphenoxy) perylene-3,4,910-tetracarboxdianhydride (1) and N-propyl-1,6,7,12-tetrakis(p-tert-butylphenoxy) perylene tetracarboxmonoimde (2) with aminosilane-modified silica. The photophysical behaviors including chemiluminescence (CL) reaction were studied in a colloidal solution which was composed of silica-core fluorophore and dispersing agent by CL decay measurement. The intensity of light was found to depend on the types of host matrix, reactive fluorescent pigments, the concentration of pigment and dispersing agent.
