Calculations of quantum cross-sections for dissociative charge transfer in the He++H-2 collision in the 10-50 eV center of mass energy range
Calculations of quantum cross-sections for dissociative charge transfer in He++ H-2 collisions are undertaken in the frame of the infinite order sudden approximation for both rotation and vibration. Using a 2-state diabatic expansion, they are compared first with semiclassical coupled wavepacket results of Aguillon( J. Chem. Phys. 109 (1998) 560) in order to assess the effect of the approximations made. Differential and total cross-sections are subsequently calculated using a 6-state diabetic expansion and compared with available experimental data.
