Comment on "Do Cu2+NH3 and Cu2+H2O exist?: theory confirms yes!" (Chemical Physics Letters 318 (2000) 333-339)
Contrary to the theoretical results presented by El-Nahas et al. (Chem. Phys. Lett. 318 (2000) 333), we believe new experiments on [Cu . (H2O)(n)](2+) and [Cu . (NH3)(n)](2+) complexes suggest their minimum stable sizes are [Cu . (H2O)(3)](2+) and [Cu . (NH3)(2)](2+), respectively.
