Direct measurement of photofragment alignment from unnormalized Abel-invertible images
It is shown that the complete (k = 2,4) velocity-dependent photofragment alignment can be directly measured from the angular distributions extracted from at least four unnormalized Abel-invertible two-dimensional ion images, using combinations of linearly and circularly polarized photolysis and probe light, and different (2 + 1) REMPI detection transitions.
