Iron-hydrocarbon cluster Fe-13 (C2H2)(6)
The stability of the iron-hydro carbon cluster Fe-13(C2H2)(6) is studied within a metallic-bond-type-theory. The theoretical model for the cluster structure indicates a centered Fe-13-icosahedron with C2H2-radicals arranged symmetrically on the icosahedron sides.
