Heat-Exchangers Made of Nonmetallic Materials, Especially for Corrosive Media and Flue-Gases
Corrosion-resistant heat exchangers made of plastics can open up a new field of heat recovery from power station exhaust gases, even below the dew point of sulphuric acid. This article reports about plant constructed and experience gained. In addition : special heat exchanger geometries for increasing power generation efficiency and avoiding acid aerosols are also presented.
