Interval Mathematical-Methods in-Process Engineering - Flexibility and Uncertainty
The goal of this article is to present novel approaches to mathematical modelling, simulation, and optimisation of process engineering processes with regard to the treatment of design and control problems. These approaches are based on the applications of fundamental concepts of interval mathematics and their adaptation to problems of process engineering.
