Novel synthesis of fluoroalkylated alpha,beta-unsaturated ketones by the oxygenative perfluoroalkylation of alpha-chlorostyrenes
The photochemical reaction of perfluoroalkyl iodide with alpha-chlorostyrenes in the presence of hexabutylditin under oxygen atmosphere produced fluoroalkylated alpha,beta-unsaturated ketones in moderate to good yields.
