Highly syndiospecific living polymerization of propylene using a titanium complex having two phenoxy-imine chelate ligands
A titanium complex having fluorine-containing phenoxyimine chelate ligands, when activated with methylalumoxane (MAO), promotes a highly stereospecific living polymerization of propylene at room temperature to produce syndiotactic polypropylene (rr = 87%, T-m = 137 degreesC) having extremely nar row polydispersity (M-w/M-n = 1.11).
