An ultrasound-assisted self-regulation route was reported to prepare silver nanorods. Ag nanorods were obtained from a mixture of AgNO3 and gallic acid, with 1, 10-phenanthroline as a type of coordination agent to regulate the products, under the ultrasonic condition.
