Photophysical and photochemical properties of decakis-adduct of C-120 and related compounds
Photophysical and photochemical properties of a decakis-adduct of C-120 and related compounds were investigated. Ground state absorption spectrum of the C-120 derivative showed structureless feature due to the interaction of fullerene-c ages. The fluorescence quantum yields of the adducts showed ten times increase compared with pristine C-60. while they were 1/6 of a hexapyrrolidine derivative of C-60. Triplet absorption bands appeared at 670 nm. The quantum yields for the intersystem crossing of the adducts were as small as 0.12-0.19.
