Solvothermal preparation of Sb2Se3 nanowires
Crystalline Sb2Se3 nanowires with a typical width of 30 nm and length up to 8 mum were synthesized through the reaction between SbCl3 and elemental selenium with sodium sulfite as reducing reagent in diethylene glycol solution. The composition of the products was identified using EDX and XPS. The possible reaction mechanism was also discussed.
