Solution-mediated synthesis of a three-dimensional zincophosphate in the presence of racemic 1,2-diaminopropane
A three-dimensional zinc phosphate [Zn-2(HPO4)(3)][C3N2H12], I, has been solvothermally synthesized templated by racemic 1,2-diaminopropane; its structure consists of vertex-linking ZnO4, and HPO4 tetrahedral units forming channels bound by 8- and 12-T atoms (T = Zn, P). The enantiomers of 1,2-diaminopropane are separated as R and S configuration in the alternating 8-membered channels.
