Ultraviolet-emitting ZnO microtube array synthesized by a catalyst-assisted flux method
Highly oriented ZnO microtube array was prepared by An catalyst-assisted flux method using ZnO nanobelts as starting materials at a temperature of 860 degreesC. The growth of ZnO microtubes may be controlled by a high-temperature SLS mechanism. One room temperature UV emission peak at 380 nm was detected.
