Syntheses and structure of a novel layered lanthanide-zinc coordination polymer: [LaZn(HIDA)(IDA)(2)center dot 0.5H(2)O](n)
The hydrothermal reactions of La2O3, Zn(CH3COO)(2) . 2H(2)O, iminodiacetic acid (H(2)IDA), and H2O resulted in the formation of a novel coordination polymers [LaZn(HIDA)-(IDA)(2) . 0.5H(2)O](n). X-ray diffraction analyses confirms that in complexe 1 La ions are lined through sharing the O atoms of IDA ligands which the octahedron-coordinated Zn ions are beside alternately to form a 1-D zigzag inorganic chain. And then a 2-D layered coordination polymer is constructed by helix bridging protonated HIDA ligands.
