Phosphate-mediated ZnO nanosheets with a mosaic structure
Seaweed-like ZnO sheets consisting of wurtzite-type nano-plates with a thickness less than 5 nm were grown in an aqueous solution system containing phosphate anions. The platy crystals were formed with specific adsorption of phosphate anions on the (001) plane.
