In this study, we propose a novel porous/disk-dual microelectrode for the electrochemical detection of reaction products/interinediates that originate from methanol electrooxidation at a powder electrocatalyst. We have succeeded in detecting protons as a product of methanol electrooxidation generated at the Pt/C powder for the first time.
