A novel way for preparing Cu nanowires
Copper nanowires with lateral dimensions of 50-200 nm were successfully synthesized by the pyrolysis of copper oxalate hydrate in the presence of CO2 at 220 degrees C. The phase and morphology of the products were analyzed by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The possible mechanism and future application were proposed.
