Adsorptive removal of phenolic endocrine disrupting chemicals by finely powdered calix[4]crown oligomers has been studied. Batch adsorption experiments and electron microscope measurements demonstrated that morphology of the adsorbents C played a central role in the control of the present adsorption behavior.
