Bi2Te3 hollow nanospheres with diameters of 50-100nm have been successfully prepared using TeO2, Bi(NO3)(3), and HNO3 in mixed solvents of water and ethylene glycol by a simple microwave heating method at 150 degrees C for 30 min.
