We have developed a new class of electron-deficient aminophosphonite-phosphite ligands based on (1R,2S)-ephedrine and chlorophosphites. These ligands were tested in rhodium catalysed hydroformylation of styrene and led to reactions with high regio and chemoselectivities into the branched aldehyde but nevertheless with low enantioselectivities.
