Determination of the optimal Rankine cycle for waste heat recovery
In this paper, the optimal Rankine cycle for waste heat recovery is considered after process integration. The exergetic efficiency is used to measure the thermodynamic performance of the recovery system. Comparing with recovering a single waste heal stream, heat recovery after process integration is much more complicated due to the changeable specific heat given by the process grand composite curves. Therefore, this paper attempts to focus attention on the influence of grand composite curves on the optimization.
