Synthesis and investigations of copper hexadecafluorophthalocyanine CuPcF16
In this work, the results of synthesis and characterization of hexadecafluorinated copper phthalocyanine CuPcF16 are reported. The results of mass spectrometric studies of the composition of gaseous phase under solid compound and thermal properties of CuPcF16 are presented. The vapour pressure of this phthalocyanine is determined as a function of temperature by the Knudsen effusion method, in which the rate of effusion of the equilibrium vapour through a small orifice was measured. It was shown that hexadecafluorosubstituted copper phthalocyanine exhibits lower volatility than its unsubstituted analogue. Besides, the spectral characterization of CuPcF16 powder and films is carried out. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
