Electrical conductivity and dielectric properties of cesium sulfate based materials
The electrical conduction and dielectric properties of cesium sulfate, based materials of Cs2CO3:H2SO4:H3PO4 system with mole ratio 2:1:1, respectively, have been investigated in the temperature range 273-473 K and frequency range 50 Hz to 1 MHz. The data predict a phase transition for cesium sulfate at 300K. Both dielectric permittivity epsilon' and dielectric loss epsilon '' illustrated peak around 300 K, due to the ferroelectric-paraelectric phase transition. The total conductivity is found to obey the power relation sigma(tot) = sigma(dc) +A omega(s) the power 0.4 < s > 1.0 suggests the quantum mechanic tunneling model. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V.
