Overpressures from nondetonating, baffle-accelerated turbulent flames in tubes
Partially confined flames interacting with obstacles can accelerate and produce significant overpressures even without completing a transition to detonation. This paper presents a simple planar model for this process as a means to relate the dynamic flame growth to the resulting overpressure. (C) 2000 by The Combustion Institute.
