The purpose of this paper is to analyse the correlations between convection fluctuations and segregation in the crystal during solidification in the horizontal Bridgman configuration. The effects of both the amplitude and the frequency of the convection velocity oscillations on the axial and radial segregation will be determined. The results will be compared with predictions based on an analytical model.
