Thermal conductivity measurement in lead bromide
The ratio of liquid and solid thermal conductivities was determined for lead bromide by measuring the temperature of solid and liquid under the steady-state conditions. The liquid thermal conductivity was determined to be 10.5 x 10(-4)Cal/K s cm, a value 1.65 times higher than that reported for the solid.
