Unidirectional < 110 > ammonium dihydrogen orthophosphate single crystal was grown by Sankaranarayanan-Ramasamy (SR) method. < 110 > orientational seed was mounted at the bottom of the glass crucible and the crystal of diameter 20 mm and length 60 mm was successfully grown by this novel SR method.
